Instruction guide
The objective of the course is to build capability to use 3D-modelling in mechanical engineering and in production of 2D-drawing documents about parts and assemblies. After the completion of the course, student will have basic know- how about using of 3D- cad software (SolidWorks).
Prerequisite competence: Technical drawing or 2D-CAD. Additionally, you need SolidWorks software for this course.
Students will be introduced to the basic tools and methods of 3D modelling. These include sketching, extrusion, cutting with material removal methods, feature multiplication, revolving, filleting, sweeping and various dimensioning methods. The course includes learning material and assignments.
